Carpenter - Contract Position

Overview

An opportunity is available for a skilled Carpenter to join a remedial building company based in Coolum Beach. You will be responsible for performing carpentry work focused on repairs and restoration to support building maintenance and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry tasks to mend and repair structures as required on-site
• Accurately measure, cut, shape and assemble wood materials
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on remediation projects
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with exposure to remedial or repair work
• Good understanding of carpentry techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
