Contract Administrator – Commercial Construction

Siteforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Contract Administrator to join a highly regarded national construction company delivering major projects across Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established builder offering a strong project pipeline, experienced leadership and genuine long-term career development.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing subcontractor and supplier packages
- Preparing scopes of work and procurement documentation
- Assessing progress claims and processing payments
- Managing variations, contractual correspondence and cost reporting
- Monitoring project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance
- Assisting with head contract administration
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects from procurement through to completion
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian commercial construction industry
- Experience working on medium to large-scale building projects
- Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills
- Knowledge of procurement, variations, progress claims and cost reporting
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated employment longevity and a stable career history
