Finishing Foreman – Tier 1 / Tier 2 Experience | High-Rise Mixed-Use Project | Gold Coast

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor experience and a strong background working on projects in Queensland to join a landmark high-rise mixed-use development on the Gold Coast. This premium project includes residential/commercial tower levels, large-scale retail, and high-end leisure and amenity spaces.

About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the finishing stages from lock-up through to practical completion, ensuring exceptional quality across all areas of the project. This role requires a detail-driven leader experienced in delivering high-end finishes within complex, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all finishing trades including:
  • Plastering, painting, tiling, and flooring
  • Joinery, glazing, and detailed fit-out works
  • Fixtures, fittings, and final detailing
• Oversee finishing across apartments, retail tenancies, and shared amenity spaces
• Drive program to achieve staged completions and tight handover deadlines
• Maintain strict QA standards and ensure high-quality finishes throughout
• Lead defect identification, management, and close-out processes
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure productivity and sequencing targets are met
• Uphold Tier 1 safety, quality, and site presentation standards

About You

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
• Strong background delivering high-rise or mixed-use developments
• Must have worked on construction projects in Queensland(knowledge of local codes, standards, and site practices essential)
• Exceptional eye for detail and quality control
• Experience managing multiple finishing trades across complex builds
• Ability to drive program under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Trade qualification (Carpentry or similar preferred)
• White Card (essential)
