We are seeking an experienced Formwork Leading Hand to join our commercial construction team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong formwork skills and the ability to supervise crews on mid to large-scale projects.

About the Role

• Lead and supervise formwork carpenters and labourers on-site

• Coordinate daily tasks, ensuring work is completed safely and to schedule

• Read and interpret drawings, set out and plan work efficiently

• Monitor quality, productivity, and site safety standards

• Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades

• Support team development and provide on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter with leadership/leading hand experience

• Sound knowledge of commercial formwork systems (Peri, Doka, RMD or similar)

• Ability to read plans and manage crews effectively

• Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and deadlines

• White Card (essential)

• Additional tickets/licences (advantageous): Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Forklift
