About the Role

Siteforce Recruitment is seeking experienced Civil Formworkers to join our team on substation and infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for constructing formwork for foundations, slabs, walls, and other civil structures in high-voltage substation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret civil and structural drawings

• Set out and construct formwork for slabs, columns, and walls

• Install reinforcement and prepare for concrete pours

• Strip and clean formwork safely and efficiently

• Work around live substation areas following strict safety protocols

• Use hand and power tools according to WHS standards

• Collaborate with site supervisors, concreters, and steel fixers

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in civil or infrastructure formwork (substation experience highly regarded)

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Qualified carpenter ( Cert 111 in carpentry)

• Strong knowledge of formwork systems (conventional, modular, or custom)

• White Card (Construction Induction)

• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport

• VOCs or High-Risk licences (advantageous – e.g., EWP, Forklift, Dogman)
