Siteforce Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Formwork Leading Hand for a commercial project based in Redcliffe. This is a great opportunity for someone who can lead a crew while still working on the tools and delivering high-quality formwork.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supervising a small crew of formwork carpenters and labourers, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while keeping the project on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of formwork carpenters and labourers
- Interpret and work from construction drawings and plans
- Coordinate daily tasks and set out works on site
- Maintain strong safety and quality standards
- Liaise with site supervisors and other trades
- Assist on the tools when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or Leading Hand
- Strong knowledge of commercial formwork systems
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Current White Card
- Strong leadership and communication skills
