Electrical Leading Hand – Commercial High-Rise

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to join a commercial high-rise project in Brisbane. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for running a crew, coordinating works, and ensuring delivery across a fast-paced construction environment.

You will be working alongside reputable builders and project teams on large-scale, multi-storey developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices on-site
• Coordinate daily site activities, materials, and labour
• Carry out hands-on electrical work including rough-in, fit-off, and commissioning
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
• Liaise with builders, site managers, and other trades
• Maintain strong QA/QC and compliance with WHS requirements

Requirements

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Previous experience as a Leading Hand on commercial or high-rise projects
• Strong background in commercial construction
• Ability to lead crews and drive productivity on-site
• White Card, CPR/LVR (within 12 months)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
