Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead and oversee the delivery of diverse projects including childcare centres, commercial developments, and civil infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations from project commencement through to completion.
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel efficiently.
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and meet program requirements.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures rigorously.
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and routine site inspections.
- Organise deliveries, plant, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules.
- Track project progress and deliver timely reports on site performance.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to maintain workflow.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders effectively.
- Assist with project scheduling and short-term programming as required.
- Ensure compliance with Queensland building legislation, the National Construction Code (NCC), and Australian Standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate site documentation, reports, and daily diaries.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, or Leading Hand on commercial construction projects.
- Experience delivering childcare centres, commercial developments, and/or civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with Tier 1 builders is highly regarded; however, applications from Tier 2 or reputable commercial construction companies will also be considered.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Queensland building legislation, NCC, Australian Standards, and local construction practices.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Current White Card and valid Driver Licence.
- First Aid Certificate is desirable.
