We’re seeking a Survey Technician to join our civil construction team based in Flagstone. This is a field-focused role (90% site / 10% office), ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors while developing their technical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out survey set-out and as-built (pick-up) using total stations and GNSS equipment
- Assist with data collection, processing, and site measurements
- Upload and manage survey data in field instruments and machine control systems
- Support the preparation of digital plans and models
- Interpret drawings and ensure site works align with design specifications
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure accuracy in all measurements
- Work closely with site teams to communicate survey information clearly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or exposure to surveying in civil construction
- Familiarity with survey equipment (Total Stations, GNSS, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- White Card (Construction Industry Induction)
- Relevant surveying qualification (or working towards) – desirable
