HR Driver / Yardperson – Formwork Industry

Siteforce Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HR Driver / Yardperson to join a well-established formwork company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on yard work in a fast-paced construction environment.

About the Role

Working as part of a supportive team, you will be responsible for delivering formwork materials to construction sites while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the yard. This role offers a great mix of driving and physical work, with no two days the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver formwork materials and equipment to commercial and civil construction sites.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Secure loads in accordance with transport regulations.
• Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming and outgoing stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard.
• Carry out vehicle pre-start inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.

Essential Requirements

• Current Manual HR Driver Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Good understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Highly Regarded

• Previous formwork experience.
• Experience working in a construction yard.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with construction equipment.
