We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join a reputable construction company with a strong presence across residential and commercial projects. You’ll be working closely with the General Manager and play a key role in managing contracts, planning, and ensuring pre-construction readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage contracts across multiple construction projects.

Coordinate pre-construction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Represent the company’s best interests while liaising with clients and stakeholders.
-
Recruit and coordinate subcontractors and project professionals.
-
Ensure all project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
-
Perform risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
-
Track project progress using IT systems and provide regular updates to the team.
-
Monitor costings, billing, and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
-
Oversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
-
Assist with project closeout and final handovers.
Requirements:
-
Experience in contract administration and construction within the commercial/residential construction industry. Civil knowledge as well would be a bonus.

Hands-on background with Carpentry (Cert III & IV preferred).

Construction manager experience in required fields
-
QBCC Site Supervisor License(required).

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
-
Able to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

Effective time management and strong organisational skills.

Proficient with IT tools and systems used for project tracking.
