We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Manager  to join a reputable construction company with a strong presence across residential and commercial projects. You’ll be working closely with the General Manager and play a key role in managing contracts, planning, and ensuring pre-construction readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage contracts across multiple construction projects.

• Coordinate pre-construction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Represent the company’s best interests while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

• Recruit and coordinate subcontractors and project professionals.

• Ensure all project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.

• Perform risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Track project progress using IT systems and provide regular updates to the team.

• Monitor costings, billing, and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

• Oversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

• Assist with project closeout and final handovers.

Requirements:

• Experience in contract administration and construction within the commercial/residential construction industry. Civil knowledge as well would be a bonus.

• Hands-on background with Carpentry (Cert III & IV preferred).

• Construction manager experience in required fields 

• QBCC Site Supervisor License(required).

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Able to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Effective time management and strong organisational skills.

• Proficient with IT tools and systems used for project tracking.
